Call to my landline, with heavy Asian accent, for Mr.Whale No-one of that name here. This call was preceded by three others at 15 min intervals, with no-one speaking when I answered - all of which had no caller number given when I dialled 1471 & I suspect are from the same party

I will report this to HMRC and the police action fraud website. I received a call from a man with a very strong accent claiming to be from BT to help speed up our broadband. The fact that he greeted me saying ?hi I?m Martin? then 5 minutes later told me his name was John Wilson, was a huge red flag. I can confirm that this is a scam call number as I called the real BT to confirm the number was not affiliated with them. Do not give out any information or allow these scammers access to your computer!
