Missed call another missed call from an 02 phone in the Manchester area - no message left

Random number, has called 5 times in one month. I don t even have a car, nor have I been in an accident!!!

It's a company called the MAP GROUP seem to provide telephone systems

Asked if i was happy with the repair service...then i had 3 mins of what sounded like kenny dalglish talking absolute pish...have now blocked kenny from calling again...

Was called at 4.15pm on Sunday and a message was left that consisted of a full 5 minutes exactly of white noise.

My mother has just taken a call from this number asking if she had life insurance & suggesting she get some. She ended the call.

received call 9:30 am on Monday 21 Feb 2022. Didn't answer but rang it back having dialed 1471 to obtain number. Got continuous tone indicating number unobtainable.

Rude Asian man telling me about a problem with my computer. His supervisor called me back and asked why I had been rude to his staff. I told him that he was rude by saying that he would put a block on my computer and I would have to pay to get it working again. The 3rd call was just shouting at me in a foreign language. Calls 4 and 5 were silent but I could hear the same people in the background.

Basically they re a fishing company, poorly-paid scammers doing blanket cold calling asking "have you had an accident in past 3 years" (citing they have bogus "information at hand") until, inevitably, someone says "yes". Cue then a selling job about how they can claim compo for you (for a % price). Not a scam; just a sad reflection of compensation culture and call-centre mentality. Hang up immediately; or if you want to be arsey, engage person in pointless conversation (though it isn t really his/her fault)

These people repeatedly call phishing for information stating that they are calling about a car accident. Maybe some poor souls they call talk about an accident they may/ may not have had and pass on personal details. It appears to be a scam and the only way to avoid them calling is to block their number. They called my number >10 times over past 6 months and have never taken it off their system. FYI I was never in a car accident.

I had lots of calls from this number. They are a nuisance and do not answer it. They are rude and problematic. They called at most inconvenient times during office hours and out...

Asking if I had an accident and asking if there was anyone else in the house who did.

Has called several times but I have a speaking phone which tells me the name if it s someone I know, and if unknown, it tells me the location or number of the caller. I did not recognise the number so each time, I ignored it.
