Basically they re a fishing company, poorly-paid scammers doing blanket cold calling asking "have you had an accident in past 3 years" (citing they have bogus "information at hand") until, inevitably, someone says "yes". Cue then a selling job about how they can claim compo for you (for a % price). Not a scam; just a sad reflection of compensation culture and call-centre mentality. Hang up immediately; or if you want to be arsey, engage person in pointless conversation (though it isn t really his/her fault)

Unknown caller who would not identify themselves or answer my questions as to how he had obtained my number. Insisted on calling me Sophia and said I was in Stockport. Both totally wrong. Wanted to offer me "benefits and bonuses" but could not get him to explain what these might be. Kept asking me questions about my situation which I refused to answer. He hung up.

Call from agent for EE, which I managed to get them to verify as the number on my phone came up as possible fraud. My broadband/TV Box price has now been frozen by them for 18 next months, (EE previously sent me warning it would be going up at end of contract date) and a free upgrade to super-fast broadband, from fast. This number rang me saying I had been in an accident last year and my number was on the accident database. The guy called Jason then said there was an unclaimed payment due to me from the otherside s insurance company. I ve had no accident and no one owes me any money. I hate these calls!!!

I got a text from what looked like my bank (Santander), saying a lot of money was being taken from my account. It gave this number 03333443057 to call. I called, and they answered HSBC ! I said I thought I was calling Santander, they said I work for both banks (yeah, right!). I said let me have your name and department, I ll call my bank and ask to be put through to you, at which point they promptly hung up.

Called asking to speak to the person dealing with water drainage and maintenance. Have had no previous dealings with this company. When asked they had no website, e-mail, and only this number to give me.
