Said he was from bt openreach. I am not with openreach. He said my Internet speeds are slow. I said my boyfriend was openreach engineer. He started trying to guess his name and then called me Georgia. Which is not my name. His accent was not a British accent. Scam.
Does anyone know who the caller is,? my gut instinct says its a scammer from overseas as for it to be from a uk land-line there would need to be another digit in the second part...

Reported to ofcom and trading standards. 10 calls in two days. ?Mortgage Advice Service?. 21 Oct 2021 - This call left a message stating my National Insurance number was under fraud investigation and would be blocked and any assets frozen unless I press 1 and speak to an advisor. My advice would be if anyone even thought it was real to call HMRC first and speak to real authorities.Reply

Got a call proclaiming to be O2 offering 30% discount on phone bill free of charge for loyalty. The contract mentioned is 2 weeks old and I haven't paid a bill yet! I ended the call as soon as I could, if it's genuine I would have expected a text from O2 or an email.

They told me id had an accident... (which I didn t) so I told them id just done a poo in my pants if they would like to help me with my accident !!
