FRAUD. I nearly fell for it but they asked for the 12 digits of my card number and wanted a card reader to confirm I was me. ALWAYS CALL THE NUMBER ON THE BACK OF YOUR ACTUAL CARD FOR NATWEST.
Have received 3 calls this week from other numbers starting 0161 to my mobile, and nw this one. They all only rang a couple of times, not long enough to look at the number and decide if I was going to answer or not, before the caller hung up. Having read the comments, I have now blocked both numbers.
I keep receiving calls from this number at least 3 times a day. Does anyone have any idea what company this is?
SCAM "Visa / Mastercard" - obviously not ! Said £600.00 charge on my account from abroad. Sounded like an Indian Call Centre scam operation. Wanted my bank account details so they could stop the charge going through - how kind of them - but didn't know what bank ! Kept them on the line for a few minutes so one less person they can scam today before letting on that I knew they were scammers !

Fraud. A warrant has been issued for my a arrest for non payment of taxes. I hung up before I was asked for payment/bank details etc. An aggressive pre recorded/ computer generated female voice with an American accent.
They did not sound like they were in an office, the phrase was "Oh yeah, I called you about claiming money back from PPI, you done that yet?" Ironically I do need to claim some back but the unprofessional-ism scared me off of them.

My partner pays his Credit card at the end of each month since he changed his job. He asked this company to change the date the payments came out. I suspect a scam. Added to my phone book memory facility list on phone. Input these nuisance numbers in so they show up on my screen as caller id: ignore1, ignore2, ignore3 etc After a couple of months can delete off phone book memory, by then they have given up if you don t answer.
