It was a dead call. It rang, I answered. Several seconds of silence later and the call dropped. Another site has a claim that it is a debt management company. I could not tell. Ringing and hanging up to encourage a call back seems to be on the rise. I would say that there is no reason to trust it.

This was a recorded message to say illegal activity had been on my internet which would be cut off in 24 hours. I was to press 1 to speak to someone. Clearly an attempt to get into my computer so cut it off.

Caller said he was not selling anything but was very abrupt.

Several missed calls from this number, finally answered one & was told they were calling RE a road traffic accident I d been involved in 2 years ago that was not my fault. Never been involved in an accident & have a clean licence so hung up!

American sounding person told me my IP address had been compromised from several different countries. press 1 to have the problem solved! I don't think so

Advising that they can reduce monthly insurance on washing machine warranty that i dont have.... when i advised i dont have any they hung up...scammers...

5 calls in 3 hrs Even though I told them I was at work 1st time.. Blocked the number after 5th call.. Maybe it is charity But i already give elsewhere.. Sorry but you might have got something but for the constant calls..

called alot so i answered a few times without speaking and they hung up immediately. Then i answered and went along with "the nice man from Microsoft" who wanted to "fix" my computer. When i got to a step that would do something to my computer i told him i thought he was a fake and a terrible person for sucking people in and he got really angry and went off! These people are scum for hoaxing people who don t know computers, particularly elderly folk.

Constantly calling, claims to be Money Expert. I m registered with the TPS and have reported them, I imagine I m not the only one!

Called me on my works landline.I don t give out my tel.no. so they re cold-calling for business! Some PPI claims bloke who would not let go when I said remove my tel.no. SO IRRITATING!

Called but didn t hang up - just said nothing at all on the answer machine, although there was a small amount of background noise.
