Someone claiming to be from "Tenancy Deposit Helpline" asking if we have a private tenancy deposit. Asked where they got our details from, they said from the Tenancy Deposit Scheme, I said surely they'd know if we had a private deposit if that was where they got out details. He hung up.

SCAM - I had a missed call & voicemail from this number. The voicemail was a recorded message in a male American voice asking to call back on the number. They called again, so I answered. Caller claimed to be from BT openreach calling about internet issues. They asked me to run a speed test and when I said I had 69 download and 18 upload they said that the difference was an issue. SCAM SPAM These people keep calling me from separate numbers about 3-4 times daily. I never answer and never will but somehow they don't seem to understand. I'm ex directory and on caller preference so god knows how they got my details. Ill be reporting them for what good it will do.

Very well spoken male gave his name as Christian informed me my washing machine insurence had expired and he was calling with regard to me renewing it. I was suspicious of this and asked the name of his company which he informed me was White Goods UK. As I have never heard of them I asked which washing machine and he said theBosch. As mine is a Hotpoint I knew he was a scam or fraud. He then tried banter before resulting to cheek when the word police was mentioned I hung up before he could get offensive
