SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. This is a scam number the called my uncle pretending to be from Amazon saying that they had taken £95 from his account by accident and if he gave them his details they would refund the money. He is an elderly gentleman and went straight to the police as he doesn’t have Amazon prime, the police called the number but it doesn’t accept incoming calls surprise surprise. SCAMMERS

SCAM - pretend to be calling to book me for a conference at ExCel London in November because I have previously attended it before using a Manchester local number. I was then passed on to a supervisor to confirm my email address – which I did. I was called from these numbers 07874409775, 0787440321 and 07874400818 today 27 Feb'23. A man with a thick Russian accent claiming to be from FCA Cyber Security and asking for details of who I am (Phishing exercise?) in order to return money lost in a crypto scam last last year. The fact is crypto losses cannot be recovered, that was the whole point of it's security, it is tamper proof, so beware.

This number calls me two or three times at about 10 minutes intervals. It never leaves a message. It also seems to be associated with another number 07482876440 which calls with the same pattern. Clearly these numbers are from someone who knows that I do not want to speak to them. Otherwise they would leave their details.
