I'm in West Yorkshire and this is one of the increasing landline robo calls, originating from the south of England, I've been receiving in November 2020. Where it rings, there's no one there if I answer and if it goes to voice message, no message is left.
Called claiming to be from Worldpay and asking for someone who doesn t work here. She got the wrong person in me! Oddly enough when I said we already use Worldpay (which is true) she backed off. I would say possibly not Worldpay - but anyway just AVOID!!

SCAM / SPAM Fake Virgin media scam marketing call. Trying to make you think you have problems with your router, which isn't possible with me as a) this is a work line, b) my work/nor me have any connection to Virgin Media.
Indian Call Center, 02088943604, in your ear kind of call about mobile phone deals, told her not interested, asked her to remove my number from the list and she hung up, before I hunged up. Lesson Learned simply hang up on them. About time the governments and phone operators stopped these kind of calls, SPAMS and FRAUD are No.1 crimes.

The phone rang but stopped before I could answer it. I called the number to find out what they wanted but the fellow that answered said he hadn’t called me and that he had had lots of similar calls. This number has been spoofed by scammers. Beware!

Keep getting text messages for a Mr Kevin Toft, I am not a male. Delete them don’t even open them. This is becoming so annoying now can something be done to stop these. Many other numbers being used by same people.
One of those who says “ ... that accident you were in...” — when I ask if they know my name, they hang up.

Had a Puppy from Shoreham Pet Rescue, Charlie came with FREE 4 weeks insurance from PetPlan, I was told if you Do Not want to continue with the insurance, Just do nothing, and it will be cancelled, PetPlan has rang me for 2 weeks Twice a day, IT IS JUST SELLS,now I know it is PetPlan, I WILL answer the call next, and tell them NO to insurance for Charlie, That should Stop the calls.? A recorded voice indicates an outstanding tax issue. Asking you to press 1 to be connected. Failure to do so will result in a warrant for your arrest (on the grounds of tax fraud) being issued. Her Majesty's Inspector of taxes would not phone if there was an issue. They would write to you. They know your address, but fraudsters and scammers like this do not. Do not press to accept the call. if you do they will know the number is in use an probably sell your number on to more scammers.
