I am pretty sure this is a dangerous scam....Informing me not by any name, that they are from fraud team investigating my insurance number which has been suspended due to being stolen and used !!!!!!! Just to say ignor this as they ask you to speak to one of their officers !!!!!!!!!!!! Which then I presume will request all your personal details etc. You would never be contacted in this way by a government dept.

Advice to anyone receiving sh*t like this: If you're really concerned it might be genuine, just phone your bank using the number on the back of your debit card. Then! SCAM / SPAM Called to say my Sky service renewal was out of date. When I told him I don't have cover, he tried to argue that I pay for it by direct debit. Once he realised he wasn't getting anywhere, he decided to hurl flurry of obscenities and abuse at me. I tried to keep him on the phone as long as I could to waste his time but eventually he hung up.

Got a call today from some guy asking for me by name (which I didn t acknowledge - I never do.) I immediately asked who was calling to throw him off his spiel, unfortunately he mumbled his "company" which sounded like s&l legal? and immediately launched into his sales patter regarding the mis-selling of PPI.
