Received call out of the blue. Said they were from BT. Said there was a problem with my line & wanted to sort it, after 19 mins the line went dead. They wanted me to download an app, using Google store to check my tablet device ID.

SCAM, he said his name was Adam Scott from Microsoft telling me my computer was at risk, giving me specific codes for my computer and saying I needed to turn it on.... My laptop takes 20 mins to start up and when I said this to him he said don't worry it won't take long... I think the longer your on call with these guys the worse it can get

They call every single day, multiple times a day. I do not usually answer but today I did. Pointless... why call some one to leave an automated message claiming it is urgent!

Internet claiming to be from BT open reach telling me I have an issue with my internet. Had a very strong accent, so I apologised and said I couldnt understand her very well so I would call BT immediately to find out what the issue was. She didnt have any response to this, will note as annoying as no idea if it would have been a dangerous scam had I not hung up, but as she was telling me to check my router then come back & they would 'fix it' I would assume this is where it was heading!!!
Thanks for the advice. They have been calling me twice a day for three weeks now. I have also now blocked their number!

I have been receiving several calls a week from this number to my mobile phone, home number and office number. They either say they are from "Trading Banks" or a market research company in Taiwan. Either way, you know it s a scam. I like to have fun with them. They have all been Filipino until today where the caller was of African descent. Rings constantly pretending to be talk talk. As an X talk talk customer I have challenged them on this and the caller will just go quiet and hang up.
