Called and asked about a car accident I d supposedly had - as soon as I asked how they knew I was in an accident, they claimed my details were included on a National register of car accidents . I said this was simply not possible, and demanded to know where they had gotten my contact details from and they hung up immediately. Two weeks later, another call. 25 Nov 2021 - Not an 02 or 03 number so are the scammers changing tactics. Couldn’t understand a word chap was saying so put phone down. After reading other comments it would appear to be the scam to white goods insurance cover. I had a similar call a couple of months ago from a guy called Martin (by his accent a long shot on this being his real name) Claiming to be from D&G about renewing insurance cover. They are a data providing company who have given my details to many different concerns. I have asked them to remove me from their database which they promised to do within the next 24 hours.

Put my mobile next to TV and she soon hung up. I don t mind they are paying for the call. TV sound seems quite effective with most unwanted callers.
