Received a call today on my landline. Caller was brusk, impolite and there was lityle or no preamble. Asked me questions about aims and values of Labour Party, why I became a member and reg d voter. Clearly knew that I was one. Asked if I d received ballot. I said I had and had voted. Didn t say for who. Asked if I had voted Lab at last GE or someone else. Indian/Pakistani sounding clearly calling from a call centre not in the U.K. as he had me on speaker phone and could hear him speaking with someone else as I answered the call. He asked for someone I don’t know. I told him I didn’t know the person and he got rude and aggressive with me before hanging up. I’ve blocked the number.

25 Nov 2021 - Not an 02 or 03 number so are the scammers changing tactics. Couldn’t understand a word chap was saying so put phone down. After reading other comments it would appear to be the scam to white goods insurance cover. I had a similar call a couple of months ago from a guy called Martin (by his accent a long shot on this being his real name) Claiming to be from D&G about renewing insurance cover. I wondered how he knew that my plan on a tumble dryer had recently expire. Couldn’t shut him up a

Saying my amazon account had been hacked and would send a new card. I asked whose this was concerning and they asked why am I asking and they hung up. SCAM.

Had call from this number, ties in with a survey from Unison about their services, was prewarned by letter that they would be calling, survey was quick and staff very polite.
Girl with indistinct squeaky voice ... eventually ... poor line but could make out "... accident that was not your fault ..." This came 5 minutes after another "unknown" number that I had just checked on this site and now know know who it was, because I need my tumble dryer fixing before it bursts into flames.
