They called again, I know it s Consumer Lifestyles as I have the number logged in my phone as "Consumer Lifestyles Scammer" As it s Christmas I thought I d have a chat with the Asian lady. Man with Indian accent asked for me by name, claiming to be calling in relation to DNS mail server problems. Asked if my computer has been running slowly or with issues and then asked if I was happy for him to go ahead with fixing it. I am ex-directory and TPS registered etc so asked how he got my details which he then claimed he got from my ISP. Clearly that wouldn t happen due to data protection so I asked for his company name and contact details so I could call them later. He said i could check them out

Unregulated, non UK based "claims" company. Great for wasting time, trolling or selling them an equally useless product. Or just block them.

Caller with strong indian accent asked for me by name then when asked said he was from "Electricity Board". When I asked which electricity company he hung up.

I am registered with TPS and would never consider buying from a company that refuses to respect that request for privacy. Apart from anything else, a lack of respect for the law in this one respect suggests they may be less than law abiding in others (e.g. building regulations!). Reports on other "nuisance call" sites confirm this firm is best avoided.
