Receiving calls about boiler replacement every couple of days and I am now about to put it on my Truecall machine. The best ?100 I ever spent. I seldom get nuisance cals these days but as soon as I have time I Google them to check authenticity, then put them on the Truecall if not trusted. I am hard of hearing, most know this and I seldom get calls now unless important.
They say they are Wonecomb?? Working on behalf of BT. They hold the lines for large companies and charities e.g Cancer research and Haribos. Is this a scam??

Asian guy rang and half way through the conversation he started to actually abuse me using the F word. And that was because I was being slightly awkward (due to the nature of the call). Nevertheless, I m sure it doesn t give him the right to start swearing down the phone. Told him he needed to be professional and brush up on his manners and he hung up (after swearing again).

Indian man, after giving an English name,says he is calling from BT Technical Dept.I know that there is no such Department within the BT organisation!!I said goodbye and put the phone down!! Yet again repeated calls from a company offering me an energy saving solution even though I m in the TPS. Dam pests or a scaming company. Why would anybody wish to deal with a company who clearly and repeatedly flounts the UK regulations on this type of calling.
