"sorry wrong number" and hangs up. complete idiots.

A man claimed he was from a company called "Speed" who rudely demand to know why I hadn t made a claim for the accident I d apparently been in. The last accident I d been involved in was a few years ago and upon hearing me start to explain this he hung up before I finished speaking. This is clearly a scam hoping to either get some personal details to allow them to commit identity fraud or to falsely extract money from me.

Said he was from an IT company that I had used recently, when I asked where he got my number from overrode my questions saying he had got it from a database and continued saying I had used one of there services recently. Told him my number was on TPF and he replied not interested and it didn t concern him what I was on. Very aggressive male caller refusing to listen. ended up telling him (very rudely) to go away and hung up

This has just happened to me £20.50 and £21.25 taken. bank has blocked them and Fraud investigation pending.

Calling every day not leaving message so cant be very important will try to catch it & put it in my call protect voicemail box,strange that none of the numbers ive put in there so far have left a message.

Had a liverpudlian girl called Lucy call me just from 01704222222, said she was calling from Alderley Assist, got the usual call centre spiel, had my name on file which I confirmed. I asked her what I could do for her and to cut to the chase as I was busy and got a mouthful of abuse being called and ugly [email protected] and other nice names. This number calls me every other day and even on Sundays and when I pick up, they keep mute and hang up. They still called today Sunday 14/08/16 at 11:24 hours.

Lady with an Indian accent called. Worryingly had name and address details. When challenged on this she cut the call.
