Vauxhall finance car loan call. Legitimate call.

Caller with indian accent gave a fake name and claimed to be calling from BT Broadband. He said there were hackers using my wifi according to messages on their server. He then tried to scare me in to giving him access to my computer. He was obviously trying to scam me as I don t have an account with BT. He hung up on me when I wouldn t let him access my computer.

Very persistent gent - Jerry Edwards - who, when I insisted, gave me Microsoft Manchester s address and phone number. His number withheld. rang this morning about saving us money on our heating and hot water.Told him we had had a new boiler this year and hung up........they rang back 4 times in a row asking why we were not interested and were quite aggressive.until I told that I would be reporting them and hung up the call

I recieved a call from a company introducing themselves as Energy Helpline and stated that they were looking to help me out on my Home Phone and Broadband bills. They convinced me to switch to another provider and that I had to pay an amount upfront for an activation fee? Is this normal? Then they stated they had a power cut as soon as I gave those details and they then had to ring me back? Sounds suspicious if you ask me, it has been an hour now. What is happening???
