Told them it was no concern of theirs who I was, but I am not the person they were after and I didn’t know anyone of that name. Fraud Had text claiming to be be from Starling Bank - text came through on same message thread as previous verification code so I thought it was genuine. Text advised suspicious activity in my account for which they would be contacting by phone (which they did the next day) They already had lots of my identifying info and put me through other checks. They’d cleared thousands out of my account by the time I’d called Starling bank a few hours later.
This number keeps calling me back and only rings for 2-3 rings and when you try to call the number back it says that it's not possible to connect to this number, so it's a scam caller. Be careful guys n girls.

Possible scam. Women said she was from Amazon and they'd noticed unusual activity on my Mum's account. Told her to press 1 if she hadn't bought something for £700. Mum was suspicious, rang off, got the number by dialing 1471 then rang it back. Women who answered refused to give her name and said she hadn't called Mum and didn't work for a company.
