This number messaged me saying hi mum this is my new number please save when I mesaaged back saying who is this, they came back saying your eldest. When I tried to call the number they didn't answer it went to o2 answering service. This was not my eldest.

He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. This is allegedly 02 network from an Indian call centre. When i spoke to them i said let me call my customer services to verify your phone number they hung up. As it happens 02 didn't answer the customer service line so unsure if a scam number posing as 02. It didn't charge me for the call. I have blocked the number.
