So after speaking to my local council office they have informed me that i am not in debt with council tax and they have not instructed this company to collect anything. So i guess im just gonna have to repay there kind phone calls and house visit with a police complaint. Good luck SCOTT & CO

25 Nov 2021 - Not an 02 or 03 number so are the scammers changing tactics. Couldn’t understand a word chap was saying so put phone down. After reading other comments it would appear to be the scam to white goods insurance cover. I had a similar call a couple of months ago from a guy called Martin (by his accent a long shot on this being his real name) Claiming to be from D&G about renewing insurance cover. SCAM Had these people phone me up on another number pretending to be the national crime agency, using an automated message. When rumbled and blocked they tried again using this number to pretend to be an insurance broker, again using the same tactics with an automated message which made it obvious that it was the same people. Do not trust, just block them.

Got a call from this number claiming to be from my Mobile Phone provider offering an upgrade. As I am on a PAYG tariff (satisfactory for my needs) I politely declined their offer and hung-up. If and when I want or need an upgrade I will decide which Company to approach.
