SCAM Called today around 1.15 pm, supposedly about our Sky Internet connection. I asked for his name (Sam) and where he was located (he carried on asking about our broadband connection). I asked him where he was located again to which he replied, "Oh f**k you!" and he put the phone down.

Had a call from "Tom" saying he was ringing back about insulation we'd had installed in our loft. Except we'd never had insulation installed as we don't even have a loft! Immediately hung up when I said this. Guessing it's some kind of scam/marketing operation.
Man with Indian accent asked for me by name, claiming to be calling in relation to DNS mail server problems. Asked if my computer has been running slowly or with issues and then asked if I was happy for him to go ahead with fixing it. I am ex-directory and TPS registered etc so asked how he got my details which he then claimed he got from my ISP. Clearly that wouldn t happen due to data protection so I asked for his company name and contact details so I could call them later. He said i could check them out

SCAM Caller claimed to be from Domestic insurance and the insurance on my electrical appliances was about to run out and they needed my card details to reinsure, After running my own appliance repair company for over 30 years, I wouldn’t be a very engineer if I need to insure my own appliances. Advised them what they could do with their policy!

Very rude and vague. The caller claims that is from PTI, but he doesn t want to go into more details abut the reason of calling. He insists on being put through the Managing Director. If you ask more questions regarding the company he is calling from he hangs up.
