SCAM Didn't actually receive a call, but an advertising card popped through my door today offering part-time work delivering leaflets. Good money paid, apparently. The email address shown was 'bakoos.in' suggesting that it was based in India, however it appears to be a Russian phone number! The Royal Mail's website cannot find any reference to the phone number, so to my mind it is a serious attempt at a scam and is best avoided.
Automated call, claimed to be from Amazon and said there was a suspicious order on my account (there isn't). Didn't stick around to see where it went.

Please report recorded spam from this number using the link below - it seems this is an ongoing investigation by ICO in the UK (so being on TPS may be effective, eventually?) Woman phoned me and put me straight through to colleague after saying hello not even telling me who they was. SCAM / SPAM This was an English speaking polite male telling me that the Government funded insulation in my loft could be causing damage to my property and he wanted to arrange a visit to examine it. Fortunately before the call went any further he mentioned the "foam insulation" and when I said it was not foam in my loft he rang off. OBVIOUSLY A SCAM. He didn't get round to asking for bank details but I am sure he would have it I hadn't realised what he was up to.

Call from this number purporting to come from Microsoft who have detected that my computer has been hacked and wanting me to give them more details and let them into checking my computer to clean it.. All lies of course and I gave no information at all - and I suggest nobody ever should either.

Typical car crash claim telesales person starting with the usual question: “I have been told that you were involved in a car crash. Is that right?” They are trying to make you speak about such accidents if any by asking such questions. So, hang up the phone and not waste your time.
