Got a call to-day but when I redialled it said invalid number.....no comment from the caller.

02 Nov 2021 - An Indian guy rang my mobile from this number, knew my name. I asked where he was calling from but couldn’t understand what he said, put him on loudspeaker and asked again and no one in my office could understand what he said? I asked what it was regarding and he said the rent on my address and knew my address?? I said I don’t rent my house and he put the phone down on me??? This number was used to call me about by National Insurance Number. This must be a scam as National Insurance Office is not based in Manchester and they wouldn't call from a mobile number.

Left a message on my ansafone claiming to be from Sarah Wilson at HMRC and threatening legal action if I or my solicitor didn t call them back immediately! Called back and spoke to a male with an Asian accent who gave his name as Kevin. He eventually hung up when I insisted on speaking to Sarah Wilson. I called HMRC who confirmed this is not a genuine call from them!

Hearing workplace injury etc called several times although polite

Receiving 4-5 calls from this number every day, automated, regarding energy efficient gas boiler. It says press 2 to book appointment or 9 to stop receiving these calls. I have pressed 9 several times, makes no difference and have pressed 2 twice and tried to explain I have a new boiler only for them to put the phone down!!!! Sick to the back teeth of them.

Just received recorded "urgent message about my pension - could be entitled to £1000!! press 5 to claim or 9 to unsubscribe" - DON T DO IT, DON T PRESS ANYTHING, JUST HANG UP. This is the third time they have called my number, called back this time but number is blocked - surprise surprise!

Man with Indian accent asked for me by name, claiming to be calling in relation to DNS mail server problems. Asked if my computer has been running slowly or with issues and then asked if I was happy for him to go ahead with fixing it. I am ex-directory and TPS registered etc so asked how he got my details which he then claimed he got from my ISP. Clearly that wouldn t happen due to data protection so I asked for his company name and contact details so I could call them later. He said i could check them out
