Cold call about a road accident (which didn't happen). Wodr "Blairgowrie" appeared next to the number on the phone.

Answered and an african decent accent asked me to hold and then hung up... confused i rang them back but it wouldnt connect it said the number was unrecognisable...

Didn t answer but after reading these helpful comments will block them using BT 1572.

I had letters and calls from Taurus which I stupidly ignored. I was taken to Court and at the hearing a hearing a gentleman advised me to discuss debt issues. He said Taurus Debt Recovery have a lot of account holders on benefits and they have a friendly and supportive team. I would encourage anyone with debts with them to talk to Taurus. If you don t contact them they will issue court claims and or issue bankruptcy.

Received text message claiming to be from Royal Mail as I refused to pay £2.99 with link to reschedule delivery. Did click on the link which was very stupid , ( I was expecting the parcel ) but nothing happened and no other details from me were asked . It was just a blank page. Obtained my details inc address following a small car accident. Gave me some story about the other guy putting in a claim for whiplash and said I could also claim.
