Just heard of Wright stuff programme, 0845 numbers, even if it s only a second your phone provider is chargeing you like you called the number, people have had bills upto £300 and they will not listen to reason you supposedly called the number so you pay your extortionate bill, we live in a world of faceless thieves, beware

I phoned the number back& it was answered by a female with a Liverpudlian accent, who repeatedly mumbled the company name,but I eventually got it out of her. Indian callers are using this number to scam people - acting as BT officials and urging the people they call to switch on their computers so they can either fix your internet connection or help you get rid of a virus. Being extremely PC-savvy, I challenged the caller, at which point they disconnected the call.

This number is not recognised if trying to call back. Which is the sign of a scammer. They have called several times despite being told not to. They have now been reported to TPS , but I doubt anything will be done :(

Phoned to tell me that i had a ?4,000 loan and i was due a refund once told him i never had on he started to become very rude and abrupt.

I have them blocked on my phone. Each time they call they get a message saying that they have been blocked. Yet they still continue to call. Clearly computer calling, else surely they would have the sense to realise that they will never get through?

Nasty pieces of work. It is nasty people from Unite, that so-called trade union who are notorious in the (TV and radio) news for selling out clients to 3rd parties, colluding with employers of their own membership, and selling s**t like stannah stair lifts, private health insurance, Unite s own credit card, enhanced legal services for divorces, deaths of kids and other stuff nobody asked for. They hang up, when challenged for their surnames and call centre location.

The chap called me and said he had a missed call from me to his mobile number. I have not called anyone today. So no clue who he was or what company he was from.
