Older person came out of hospital today to find call from this number purporting to be from "Lisa at HMRC" and saying that there is a serious lawsuit against the person and he must ring the number :( :( Person is registered with TPS.

Several calls from this number, usually around mid-day. As an unknown (to me) number I never answer. TPS not functioning in this case.
Very mumbled message saying from Western Union saying that a large sum , either £400 or £4000 had been taken from my visa account, and to go on to speak to someone by pressing a single digit number, Did not do this a seems odd, and probably a scam. Annoying but probably dangerous.
Probably "TalkTalk Technical Department". Blocked the number.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. Fraud , indian female , claiming she was from virgin media, asking if i was aware my broadband would be cut off in a couple of hours as there had been a lot of illegal activity from my account. she hung up after i pushed her to give me information about my account. i am not sure whether it was passwords or payments she was after but she got nada from me and hung up.

Telemarketing Possibly telemarketing, possibly a scam/fraudulent. A woman called (I'd missed a call yesterday) and told me she was from a company whose name I didn't catch - she wouldn't repeat it. After I made it clear she hadn't got my number from 'a page' I signed up to, and asked for a call from, she berated me for wasting HER time 'because I'm working'.... Refused to say where she got my number from, carried on getting pissy and eventually hung up. After wasting a lot of MY time: she cold-called me!

"James Brown" from Belfast with a thick indian accent and didn t know the address of the company he worked for trying to push a "Government" boiler scheme. Total scam!
I received a text on this number claiming that I had missed a delivery from Fedex. The website address I was supposed to link to looked suspicious and when I checked online didn't match anything on the official Fedex site. Since I am not expecting a delivery I assume that this is a scam.

Same person here, I do apologise for this. I can block them meaning if anyone is trying to scam you via text, you can block them.
