PPI. They said it was called HELP YOUR CLAIM. I asked to speak to the manager and told them that my phone was registered to not receive cold calls, and asked them where they got my number from. They asked for my email address so they could let me know where they obtained my number from. I refused to give it, as next thing they will be sending me emails too. This number is an automated system stating illegal activity has been linked to your national insurance number and to press 1 otherwise you will be arrested. Clearly spam as they have a mobile number.

Caller says he / she is from Amazon and would like to auto renew prime subscription. Then asks you to turn on your computer and to allow them to connect. I kept them going for a while, then asked their name and a contact number - they hung up. It was an indian accent.
Said they were from sky trying to correct a problem with my broadband and to go onto a website browser. Upon asking for proof of who he was he became rude!

Company have been passed a file saying I was involved in an accident in the last 3 years. Sorry I haven t. This person just ended the call. Only answered it because it was a local number.

Insurance - scam - sending me maintenance policy renewal papers for my (16 year old) washing machine and (a twenty year old refrigerator). Aimee was very nice but on a loser with this nonsense. She did not know what brand or how old they were but was quite adamant they had been insuring them since installation but could not tell me which bank had been paying the premiums so wanted such details..Amazingly they ARE that old but spares that still work very well when(rarely) needed.
