Don t answer!! Don t give any details!!! These people called my elderly mother saying that there was a claim for her vehicle insurance - absolute rubbish. Also the insurance is under my father s name so they basically got her mobile number from a database. Luckily I was here and took over the phone call where it became immediately clear that they were fraudsters. Being based in Haywards Heath and with an English telephone agent you d be forgiven for initially thinking that they were legit.

Phone was off but had a missed call from this number and HUGE reported on line concerns from people about it. It worryingly coincides with DAILY Phishing e mails for past 3/4 months reported to report@phishing/ICO and Microsoft. Calls up to 3 times a day every day - then a break of a week and starts again. Automated message for unknown person. Press 2 to confirm I am not the person named - but the message says pass a message on to the person that I do not know. Calls have come early morning and evening. In desperation bought a call blocking phone. They are still trying to get through but at least I am not disturbed by them any more. But an expensive solution.

Call from this number followed a spam text from a claims management company (I responded to the text to try to find out who sent it). Wouldn t identify the company or admit that the text was spam, but claimed it had been sent as a result of a mistake on their database.

An aggressive and persistent man called Solomon cold called and said he had information that we were paying too much for our phone and got quite angry and indignant when I said I was reluctant to swap from BT to National Business. I hung up and wish I hadn t bothered to listen in the first place.

Number 01782146044 called me and said they were from my bank but did not say which bank because they would not have know which banks I deal with. The recorded message said that money £600 was going to disappear from my account within 15 minutes. I hung up the phone and blocked the number as it was obviously a spam call. I have about 6 similar calls over the last month or so from different numbers each time and I have blocked them all. Thankfully no money disappeared unexpectably from any account.

I have received multiple calls from this number for weeks/months now. When you answer they either hang up or say its PPI. When i told them im not interested, they then hang up. Must still be on thier call list. Would love to know how to block them
