This number called me at 07:25 with an automated message saying they were from Amazon and that I should call them back, the line was very crackly.

Fraud. A person claiming they are calling form CarPhone. Trying to sell me a new mobile plan with 40% discount. They could answer a my question if they are want me to switch my provider or they have a deal from my own mobile provider. They also didn't know who my provider is but wanted me to tell then. I started asking questions and it became more and more evident it is a scam. Received a scam text message from this number late at night reading: "Hey mum, using friends phone cos my screen broke. can u msg my temp number on whats app 07379573194 x" I also then received another text saying "hi" from 07597207752, which I know also send the same text message above.

Called our company number purporting to be EDF energy, wanting to know our energy suppliers and contract terms. Advised not interested, but the man kept pressing for details in an unprofessional manner. Disconnected call but they called back and then hung up on my colleague.

Number appears on a fake PayPal 'You've got a money request'. It is part of a warning that there has been suspicious activity on your (PayPal) account and to call this number - +44-808-196-3116. This is a fake warning added by the scammers, it is NOT a legitimate message from PayPal. If you call the number the Operator will ask to have access to your PC. This is likely where the scam will take place; either malware, key logger or worse.

Scam caller claiming to be from Virgin. The call was made by an official sounding call centre (the woman sounded Indian). She claimed that there has been suspicious activity from unknown IP addresses using my account and that it was being used for criminal activity and that she needed to help me protect my firewalls etc. I immediately became suspicious as I'd heard of such calls being made and told her that I'd call Virgin directly to resolve any issues. got a text from Halifax saying did you use your card for 103.00 GBP, if yes reply Yes, If No call 08004370296 - checked with Halifax and this is not their phone number If you do call the number it goes through Halifax Fraud but this is a scam

Called this morning. I do not know anyone in Leeds. Caller was a woman with an (Indian?) accent. Caller told me that I needed debt. A weird call, caller did not use my name, identify herself or tell me why I needed debt.

Claimed to be able to save me money on my mobile phone bill. Claimed originally to be from EE, but that isn't my provider, he then argued with me about my provider - he eventually hung up. I always keep them talking as much as possible to save the next poor victim.

This number has called me a dozen times by landline,mobile and text claiming to be Lloyds Bank telling me there is a problem with my debit card use and to call back or click the link urgently. Clearly a scam, and no call back has been made
