I requested a catalogue in the post (so I could have a look without speaking to anyone) and about 1 hour after filling in the online form, I ve started to receive around 3 or 4 calls a day, now for well over a week. I haven t answered them, but I m really annoyed and suggest this marketing tactic isn t a good idea in general.

Called twice today. Answered 2nd call - "Mike (Punjabi) Smith", from 'BT'. Foreign person using my IP address for illegal purposes - would need to disconnect my internet for 5 days. Told me to hit CTRL+R and Windows key and enter something. I played along (doing NOTHING on my laptop, but then asked him, "You say this is coming from my IP address - then you can tell me what it is!?". He gave me a random number from hos head, I guess. I have been rang by this company at least twice a week for the last four months. sometimes in the early hours of the morning. I have asked today where they got my number from. he said 3rd party. I told him I don t give out this number at all. I then told him to remove my number from their database or I shall report them.

Fraud - I received a text saying "Your parcel requires a £2.99 shipping fee, pay this now at royal.mail-transit.co.uk If not paid your parcel will be return." This was smart as I had last week mailed a parcel to Europe but I had it tracked so when I check my tracking number on the official royal mail website it said it had already been delivered.

Mobile went off with this number calling me. Ignored it and cancelled the call. Yet another cold call that's cold call no 1 today :P
An automated call - when you answer it is meant to connect you to an operator at the other end of the line, but it took that long that I hung up. Phoned 3 times today, which is annoying.

Asked if I was a uk resident, if I was a card holder, and if I was over 18, then waffled on about a different thing I could have for £18:50 I said I was busy an wasn't interested, so had the phone put down on me. Didn't state her name, and said the call was being recorded, hope she gets sacked for that behaviour if it was really 02, stupid cow!!!! Just ignore it. They also called me a few days ago too. Why don't these people just leave us alone. If we wanted anything we are quiet capable of ringing
