third call today 9/2/16, finally spoke to someone who said they were from a company called DIRECT RECOVERY. when challenged about no of calls hung up instantly, very very annoying.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. Caller to our TPS registered number wrongly claiming to be "your current energy supplier". Attempted to tell me I was wrong when I told him that they weren t our supplier, and demanded to know if I was "the manager", and then attempted a line of stammering bullshit when I asked him to prove his credentials by quoting me the account number and the name of the account holder. A complete, lying, shyster who got himself told to sod off, in fairly short order.

Recorded message saying someone had just used my credit card for £600 in a foreign country and asked me to press 1.

A man claimed he was from a company called "Speed" who rudely demand to know why I hadn t made a claim for the accident I d apparently been in. The last accident I d been involved in was a few years ago and upon hearing me start to explain this he hung up before I finished speaking. This is clearly a scam hoping to either get some personal details to allow them to commit identity fraud or to falsely extract money from me.

They called I answered, they hung up and when I attempted to call back the phone went dead. Several attempts were made to return there call as I am very security aware. However as no msg or call was made to my house I assume its a PPI or cold calling scam. I will retract any commets if I find they are untrue for now my view is dont bother to answer.

Caller claimed he was ringing back about "refund" but nobody had called him. He also asked for a Mr Stewart - nobody here with that name.
