This Asian lady said someone was connecting to my internet and said was from Talktalk. I said I check regularly online to see who s connected to my internet and she hung up. Very disturbing as we only just had our number changed on Talktalk because got so many unwanted calls,so how did they get my number again.

Had a call from here today and the guy at the other end 'supposedly' was ringing on behalf of his father after worktops (I design and fit kitchens) He left no number but wanted to know what worktops I supply and whether his father would need to come to me. I have a feeling this was not genuine as he left no number and gave no name but will 'call back'. Sometimes you just get a feeling... I did with him.

Because it was a local number I called it back and got some garbled message regarding Scottish Power. two minutes later my husband received a call from the same number with the same reaction. He called it and got to speak to someone offering him a refund on a holiday. When he asked to have his number removed from their database the salesperson rudely hung up. WHO THE HELL ARE THESE STUPI

It's a scam - someone claimed they are calling from O2 Chinese Customer Service center - they even know my personal details (e.g. name, number, email) and say I am involved with sending spamming text so need to file a record with chinese police. They gave me lots of details to verify their identity that makes them trustworthy. However, I reconfirmed with O2 that this is not their CS number - so it's only a spam call. Beware!
