When I answered there was a short delay then obviously a busy call centre with numnerous conversations taking place. The caller had a very strong Indian accent and it was impossible to understand what she was saying, not helped by the background noise. Typical of many other scam phone calls. I left the phone on but ignored the conversation until the caller closed the line.

Their first comment was we are not trying to sell you anything then carried on talking even though I was trying to interrupt. I said I was not interested and they simply hung up. They have actually called several times and I've requested my number be removed from their call list where they said no and hung up again.

In response to your comment Tony M please dont be so rude as to imply others are uneducated this number is a pain in the arse. They are now ringing my husbands mobile using one of their other numbers 0161 826 5780 all times of day they dont answer you when you pick it up there is always a voicemail message directing you to hold for their accounts dept and they DENY they are workin for Orange when you do get through so check your facts are correct before making rude assumptions about others.
I received calls for weeks from this number, all i could get was a fake company name: utilite. The person who I spoke to said they got my number from a data provider which he refused to releveal.

Company called "Pension report team" wanting to know if I had a frozen pension. Not only did I not acknowledge my name when they rang but I immediately launched into an attack on them. Told them they were a scam company and on the FCA blacklist, at which point the caller said he would remove me from their call list and hung up. Don t be afraid to attack them first!
