This is some landline from London area, I couldn't find any info for this specific number, but as written previously for similar numbers, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. All the numbers are of the same range 020347621xx - some of them were already reported as being used by call centre calling for non-profit (NSPCC - check them at http://www.nspcc.org.uk/). Nuisance for me....

Very bubbly sounding lady called Leslie, on a terrible line, called from this number. Claimed to be from some kind of insurance company, said the information had come from the "Road Traffic Accident Commission" or similar. Apparently I was in an accident that wasn't my fault. After asking her to repeat her company name, and pointing out that I hadn't had an accident, she hung up on me.

Guy introduce himself saying he was contacting me as i was on a list to receive a refund due to bank charges. He asked me lots of questions about who ive had loans from and who ive had credit cards with. I said im sorry this doesn t sound right to me...he got very irritated and told me to check the number it is a recognized BT number at a registered address. I called Barclays on 03457 345 345 only to be told this numbers has switched to 0345 600 45 40. I called this number and followed the exact same instructions that you would normally be asked only something didn't feel quite right about it. I called back the 03457 345 345 number which worked this this time and spoke to a gentleman on the Fraud team who advised me this was not one of their numbers and this was most definitely a fraud attempt.
