Called twice in two days now. First call was silent. Claims to be regarding a government grant scheme for boiler replacements. Did not say who they were.
Called twice today. Answered 2nd call - "Mike (Punjabi) Smith", from 'BT'. Foreign person using my IP address for illegal purposes - would need to disconnect my internet for 5 days. Told me to hit CTRL+R and Windows key and enter something. I played along (doing NOTHING on my laptop, but then asked him, "You say this is coming from my IP address - then you can tell me what it is!?". He gave me a random number from hos head, I guess. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. Caller said anything of Solar Energy Solutions, is very difficult to understand. The issue here seems to be a call center. There are many voices in the background listening to and I ll called several times a day. Now I know that it s pointless and I ignore the number.
