SCAM automated call! This number called - I didn't answer as I didn't recognise it. My voicemail picked up part of an automated recorded message, seemed to be telling me to press 1 or my National Insurance number would be 'switched off' and I would no longer be able to use it. Possibly the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard but sadly some people will panic and do as they're told!
Fraud - says someone has launched a criminal case against you and asks you to press 1 to find more about legal action. DO NOT PRESS 1... glad other people have this as fraud and it's not real haha

Fraud A friend of mine had money disappearing from her bank account, she's Burmese and her English isn't so good so I looked into it for her. Turns out it's a company called Florist-world.com that took 2 euro from her account then took 24 euro every 2 weeks. I finally found emails from them in her spam folder, they'd somehow managed to get hold of her debit card number and were taking 24 Euro every 2 weeks, the last email said that amount was increasing to 44 Euro. Prerecorded message alleging to be from a bank - 2 transactions were highlighted as 1. a payment of £300 to Amazon and 2. a payment exceeding £1000 to an overseas destination. Options were offered which were ignored and the call was terminated by the recipient. An effort was made to call the number from both landline and mobile where an answer was given “it has not been possible to connect your call” and “the number you have dialled is incorrect”, respectively. These people should be sent to Siberia.
