He continued to talk over me, saying he was working alongside the Dept of Transport and I should listen to him. NUMBER BLOCKED!

Had a call from this number this morning claiming to be Tesco and press 1 to confirm order of £99, press 2 for customer services. Didn't press anything and hung up. Called number back and it belongs to an elderly lady so someone is cloning her landline number. Tried to explain but she didn't understand.

Not a scam, it's fine! Was told it was HSBC and was asked to verify my identity by the agent on the other end. I let them know I would call back directly to avoid a scam and she said okay, she would put a note on my file about it, and ended the call. I called HSBC directly through their official phone line and asked about it and they DID find a note on my file - it was totally legitimate! If in doubt go ahead and call back anyway, it's good practice, but don't ignore this number because it is actually real

Getting scammed by this company was the worst nightmare that happened to me early this year. I wish I had done enough research before engaging. Maybe the situation with them would have been different. I was so naïve and did not have enough information I needed to know about the whole online investing scenario. Santander left a voice mail, which I thought was a little bit suspicious, as I have never heard or had a bank leave any kind of voice mail. So I rang the official phone number that is on the back of my card and after being on hold for nearly an hour they eventually answered and apparently they had nothing written on my account about anyone who tried to contact me and left a message. Someone from the fraud department will be contacting me, so I will find out if this number is legit or if they are scammers
