I have stopped answering these suspicious calls for the time being - too busy. As with the one I received at the same time yesterday, when I was having breakfast, I concluded the caller was another criminal trying to persuade me to give them access to my computer so they could infect it. That is because the majority of the calls I get are of that nature. The likelihood was all the greater because, like yesterday s call, it was purportedly from an area where I do not know anyone.

Location says Trafalgar Square London but possible rerouted there from Indian scam call centres. Each time I order from Amazon I have scammers try to steal my cash! A pestilent fake American accent telling me my Amazon Prime sub is to be renewed. I have no interest in Amazon Prime and find thius sort of intrusion completely unacceptable. Twice today so far.
