He then asked, "Are you over the age of..." seemed to think for a while and then decided on 50. I am a decade younger than this so I just said, "No." which seemed to confuse him and he said, "Right." A recorded message warned me that my bank account was to be charged to continue my membership of Amazon Prime after a free trial. I don't belong to Amazon Prime! I did not dial 1 as suggsted to speak to someone, particularly because although I do have an Amazon account my name was not given in the call. Phishing at best, access to my bank account possibly?
This number calls daily. I did answer once but it was just background noise.

The Indian caller I could not understand the mentioned very quickly a company name that was illegible and they made up a reason for me to call them back so they could discuss, I’m guessing this is when they try and either scam you or sell you something you don’t need

Got the same call today from an Indian woman called "Jennifer Janet" (like f*ck)stating I had viruses. She would fix them and also upgrade my internet service! (ha ha). I played along with her until she asked me to press certain buttons on my keyboard. I pretended to do so, and when she asked "what message is displayed", that is when I tore into her calling her a scamming Indian ****** and to f*ck off! she hung up!
