I blocked this number after reading on a number of sites that they are a market research company. Indian/Pakistani sounding clearly calling from a call centre not in the U.K. as he had me on speaker phone and could hear him speaking with someone else as I answered the call. Ppi claims

A few minutes after my last nuisance call, which was from the Talk Talk impersonators, I got this one - from the p.p.i. pests using a number they had not used for me before. Only a couple of days ago their recorded message was saying it was their final attempt to contact me, but telling lies is habitual for them. I estimate I have had a hundred calls from these people. I look forward to the day they are prosecuted. They are making money out of people s naivety so I hope they get fined heavily.
