have had a few calls form this numer speradically. when i answer i hear a sort of bouing sound then nothing for 10~seconds, then they just hang up. when i call back im directed to EE voice mail claiming the person cant accept the call at the moment

Found out it s a timeshare cold call based in Tenerife. What they actually do is speak as if they are talking to someone else saying I can t hear anyone on the other end of the line, eventually put the phone down and wait for the person to call them back, obviously at their own cost. So be warned and beware.

Nuisance caller when I tried to ring them back to ask them to stop pestering us I couldn t get through to them. As I was completing this the phone rang again. I tried to explain that we didn t want calls from them. The bloke said "with all due respect mate we ve never rang you before". What a shithouse even though I told him we have been plagued by them. I got a text from what looked like my bank (Santander), saying a lot of money was being taken from my account. It gave this number 03333443057 to call. I called, and they answered HSBC ! I said I thought I was calling Santander, they said I work for both banks (yeah, right!). I said let me have your name and department, I ll call my bank and ask to be put through to you, at which point they promptly hung up.

I answered a call from this number, and heard a male at the other end of the line with the sound of other people in the room. He didn’t answer immediately, and after a short while asked if I could hear him, to which I, possibly foolishly replied “Yeah, yeah”. The phone was not put down at his end, but there was no reply when I tried to communicate at which point I ended the call.

I have just received a call from a female withe an Indian accent. She claimed to be representing someone who was involved in an accident with me. I said I remembered no accident (I haven t had one!). She said, are you sure? I asked what is my registration? She said she was not allowed to say. I asked her what was my name? She said "sorry to trouble you" and put the phone down as I accused her of being a scam.
