She said, Somebody has accesed your account and made a £600 purchase fron Amazon and a £2,000 transfer to an international account, RED FLAG I politely told her to stop trying t scam people and she immediately hang up, basically, our phone providers should block these calls, as we are paying to receive them!

Indian type accent offering a discount on a phone contract

Any caller that doesn’t wait to be answered or starts 0843 0845 etc are scams as far as I’m concerned.

A fraudster by the name of Tomas Lang is using this phone number using recovery room fraud tactics. The victim he contacted and trying to obtain money from was a victim of a fraud losing a significant amount of money.

someone claiming to be from O2 called me just now from this number. They were offering a 30% discount on all my bills until the end of my contract, asked me if I wanted to go ahead and told me I would get two text messages with a code I needed to read back to them. Usefully, the text messages were from O2 (the caller had gone into my profile and done a forgotten password which triggers the texts) but the messages said very clearly not to share the info with anyone, even if they claim to be working from O2.
