I received couple of times calls from this nuber. Everytime the lady on phone has very strong accent, hard to understand. They known my old address, Name and surname, Everytime I ve been asked to confirm my address and details and then something about loands I ve taken in last 10 yrs, credit cards.. As everybody else said, an indian man called with lots of background noise claiming to be from Talktalk. He said there was a problem with the internet running slowly. Had I noticed this? I realised it was a scam and thought I d play along for a little. He asked if I had a PC or laptop so I lied and told him that I only had a tablet. Stating they are the credit investigation department, a UK government department. When questioned further, the caller revealed they were an independent company doing promotional calls.
