I asked for my name to be removed from their database as I was unlisted and also on the telephone preference scheme (TPS)I was told that was irrelevant because they were acting on behalf of the Government. My TRUECALL device received a call from 01924215367 today. Its operating system would have asked who is calling before asking me whether I wished to accept the call. The caller did not respond and my phone did not ring. I installed this device because I have been a victim of miss-selling and fraud crime. The product is endorsed by BT. Purported to be Virgin Media reviewing your account to provide the best possible service. They fail on DPA/GDPR as don't seem to understand the principles of validating they are speaking to the account holder. They don't have access to account information such as account numbers, billing area codes etc.

The 'company' title 'Expert Savers is misleading to get personal information from you, including bank details if you let them supposedly sign you up to a magazine subscription, etc. This is another new number for these harassing pests who won't delete your details from their systems if you ask them to - I know because of having repeatedly (dozens, if not over a hundred times by now). This one is a Birmingham (UK) dialling code, but they use others too.
