Slightly Indian sounding Woman called "Len" claiming to be from BT and asking for an email address to send information to. When I ask for her email address so I could allow it through our spam filters, she repeated she wanted my email address. I repeated I wanted her email address... she hung up. SCAM / SPAM This must be a scammer as I had to go to voicemail to find out who it was and it is someone claiming to be from HMRC and asking me to press number keys for more information. This would most likely divert me to another number and leave me open to some kind of fraud. Number now blocked. If it really is HMRC they have my address and email address.

Number 01782146044 called me and said they were from my bank but did not say which bank because they would not have know which banks I deal with. The recorded message said that money £600 was going to disappear from my account within 15 minutes. I hung up the phone and blocked the number as it was obviously a spam call. I have about 6 similar calls over the last month or so from different numbers each time and I have blocked them all. Thankfully no money disappeared unexpectably from any account.
Was called from this number which sounded automated asking about "involvement in car accident where you were not at fault" .. I don t even have a car! Seemed very suspicious.

A slight twist on other reviews, as claiming to have ?2500.75 (very precise) owing to my daughter, on my phone, for an incident 2-3 years ago, or when pressed, in the last 4 years (all very imprecise!). Asked for company name and told Motor Investigations. I haven t acted on behalf of my daughter on my phone for over 10 years now, so old contact lists being obtained from somewhere. Will be reporting to Ofcom.
