Several calls from an Asian woman claiming to work for mobiles.co.uk offering too good a deal to be true, she didn’t speak English well enough to be genuine. She then sent me an email which looked fake.
Automated message saying I was being investigated for tax evasion! and that a warrant had been issued for my arrest by Hmrc. Considering I am a basic paye tax payer, it was clearly a scam. Number blocked.

Dropped what I was doing & raced downstairs to answer persistent call. Man with an unidentifiable accent garbled something against a cacophony of background noise sounding like the Call Centre from Hell. I asked him to repeat his sentence. He said " can I speak to the owner of the business?" Puzzled, I said " business?" At which point he rudely disconnected the call. SCAM 07920 351494 automated voice saying internet section of my bank (but did not say which bank) and that they have stopped a £600 transfer to Western Union and for me to press 1 to speak to an adviser. I hung up believing this to be a scam call.

I have received calls from these people every day but nobody is on the line. So I emailed them and told them to remove my ex directory number immediately as they are contravening the new Data Protection Law and one more call and I will complain and they could incur as hefty fine, if I wanted their insurance I would call them, so Google Data Protection and go on their site, There is a link where you can complain. This is harassment so let s put a stop to it.
