2 Unsolicited calls in 2 days on our ex directory landline no. asking me to go to my computer; connect to the internet so that the caller could help me with what I assume was a virus clearance issue. Caller put down when the answer machine cut in - did not leave a message. I do not know anyone from Bury-St-Edmunds but I have had previous unknown calls from that area.

Someone called me on this number this morning twice while I was in a meeting. I called back and someone called Mark answered. I did not give my details but asked why he had called me and he put the telephone down. I rang back but it just rings and rings. They/he has tried to call me a further five times today already(seven times in all) and it is only 3.50 pm. HELP.

This is a call from a very thick Chinese guy who speaks poor English. He keeps on insisting that you answer some lifestyle questions. When you refuse he will hang up and call back the next day. If you ask him to remove your number from their database he will hang up. It is from Today s Living Marketing Survey. SCAM supposed to be calling about the TPS which I use, told me they were upgrading my service so that I would never get another call from scammers etc, they had all my details which I find extremely worrying, after telling me how I would be upgraded, wanted the 16 number’s on my registered debit card, they slammed the phone down when I refused
