I am getting regular silent calls from this number even though I am registered with the TPS. I have now tracked them down and the number belongs to a supposedly reputable charity fundraising organisation. I say supposedly reputable since no genuinely reputable company would make such a nuisance of themselves, especially on TPS registered numbers. Recorded message claiming to be from Visa, saying my Visa Debit card has been used for a very large payment. I don't have any Visa cards, so obviously a scam.
Purported to be Virgin Media reviewing your account to provide the best possible service. They fail on DPA/GDPR as don't seem to understand the principles of validating they are speaking to the account holder. They don't have access to account information such as account numbers, billing area codes etc.

Fraud said they were to do with repairs. Lots of voices and noise in background. Asked if I was council housing association, when I told them they should know this, they started asking if I had reported damp, mould, cracked windows or any other jobs. I told them they should have that on the computer and to tell me which they are calling for... I got ok madam good day and they hung up. Sounded like they were calling from India not London as showing on screen.
