Had a cold calI from this number today. I answered the phone, could hear voices in the background. Nobody replied and the line went dead after about 30 seconds. I rang the number back and found out that it belongs to Logic Guard Insurance. I told them that I am registered with the TPS and asked them to take my number off their database. I also said that I will report them if they ring me again. I was told that my number would be removed from their phone list and I won t get any more calls from them. Let s

When I pointed out that I don’t have Sky and enquired if this was another Indian call centre scam call the guy calmed me a MotherF****er and a C*** and several more expletives. Asked where she got my number she said Road Traffic Accident Department which obviously is twaddle, or there own internal RTA department. SCAM This is a scam number, when answered, it plays a voice recording claiming to be the national crime agency that your NI has been suspended due to a fraud investigation against you. These scammers must be really stupid if they really understand what is the purpose of NI!
This number has rung my mobile twice in two days. I have not answered but after reading comments on this and other websites, I contacted O2 directly. They confirmed that it IS them and it IS telemarketing, and offered to block my number, which I accepted. He said he had passed my details to telemarketing to stop contacting me but it could take up to 28 working days for the calls to stop. So I will have to wait and see. I hope this helps.
