Found a sticker marked "Privileged Customer Telephone Hotline - 0870 2410939" on the inside of a piece of vintage/collectable furniture. I was curious about the history of this furniture

Saw the random number and predicted immediately it would be an insurance scammer. Sure enough, English sounding girl on the phone asking about recent accident. I told her I don t want to participate in her scam. She paused a few seconds and told me she was just calling from an insurance company (didn t actually say a company name). I told her no she wasn t. PPI claim company, said they got our details from a lifestyle survey but we never participate in these to avoid unwanted calls. Clearly lying, and from the number of people complaining I hope we ll see TPS/ICO take action and fine them.

Vague sounds of heavy breathing as I indicated they could stick their boiler recycling scheme (or whatever) up their ar5e. Said nothing so I hung up. Called back six times in rapid succession but still silent, to some people this is a job?

This is a SCAM. Called me asking for credit card/ debit card details so they could block unwanted calls. I told him this was a scam and he repeated "a scam" and then hung up.

Someone called me from this number this morning and I answered. He said that he was phoning in regard to a recent survey that had done with regard to debts and wanting to reduce the amount paying. He knew my name but did not introduce himself or who he was workingfor. As soon as I told him I had not filled any survey online he hung up. I tried to ring the number back but it went through to an Orange answerphone that message box was full.
